Warner, is extending
a warm invitation to all clergy and laity to attend The Whitby Conference (Mon 11 – Fri 15
July). It is to be an
international gathering this summer of clergy and
lay people who are interested in looking at
what influence the
Anglos Saxon and Celtic Church had on the people of
Britain.
A range of top speakers
brought together by Bishop Martin of Whitby will
ensure a feast of theology and reflection.
Speakers include Rob Mackley,
Assistant Chaplain at Emmanuel College, Cambridge;
Lucy Winkett, Rector of St James, Piccadilly; Mark
McIntosh, Professor of Theology at Durham
University and Margaret Barker, a published
biblical scholar.
Accommodation is provided in
comfortable guest houses with breakfast everyday.
Dinner is either included or purchasable locally on
